Velvet Spandex Lycra is commonly used in dance, calisthenics and gymnastics costumes as well as swimsuits and undergarments due to its elasticity and lightweight composition. A 4-way stretch (Also known as 2-way stretch in some countries) indicates the ability to stretch both horizontally and vertically. Breathable and comfortable, this material has been woven with a velvety finish on one side of the fabric and features fine, glittery lines approx every 3mm for a little extra sparkle. This style is priced per 1m and features a composition of 20% Spandex and 80% Nylon. This fabric will be provided in continuous lengths where possible.IMPORTANT NOTE: This material should only be washed by hand in lukewarm water and dried using air without excessive sun exposure.
