Lead a beautiful, community‑minded showroom experience.
About the role We’re House of Adorn, a creative retail brand loved by makers, milliners, and costume
designers. We’re looking for a part‑time Showroom Manager to lead the front-of-house operations, uplift customer
in‑store experience, and keep the showroom organised and inspiring.
Purpose
Own the in‑store experience and daily rhythms so our team can deliver seamless service across showroom and
online.
What you'll do
Be the on‑site duty manager on your shifts; set the tone, solve issues, and coach casuals.
Deliver warm, personalised service; discover needs and recommend products, special requests and returns.
Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, POS reconciliation, and end‑of‑day readiness.
Coordinate click‑and‑collect and showroom pickups; partner smoothly with warehouse/online orders.
Overseeing staff schedules, timesheets, task delegation, and ensuring emails are actioned.
Managing stock and inventory: identifying restock needs, assisting with local and international purchasing,
and processing deliveries/invoices.
Strong communication and coaching: you teach others clearly in a few steps.
Curiosity for materials; fabrics, trims, millinery/craft (interest is a plus, not a must).
Nice to have
Experience supporting workshops/events in a retail setting.
Social media content‑friendly: comfortable capturing quick in‑store moments for the team to use on socials.
