How it behaves
- Becomes flexible when damp, allowing it to be shaped or blocked
- Dries hardened to shaped structured forms
- Lightweight while maintaining structural integrity

Ideal for
layering with a solid colour sinamay for a texture effect or on its own for an open airy style.
Traditionally used in millinery to block. Equally effective in theatrical or costume sculptural designs and decorative elements.
