The Rhinestone Hotfix applicator is an easy-to-use crystal applicator - designed to minimize the effort of applying rhinestones so that you can readily put that extra focus into the mechanics of your design.
Please note these now come in a purple colour.
Simply select the correct sized tip to match your rhinestones from the 7 tips available and plug the applicator into a power point to start applying. The tips are designed to pick up the crystals with minimal pressure and heat them whilst in contact so that once the hotfix glue has melted, the crystal can be permanently applied to the surface of your choosing.
If your crystal size does not fit any of the available tips, a special "Hot Spot" flat nail head tip is also included - to use, just place the rhinestone on the desired surface and press gently on top of it with the hot tip until the glue has melted. Rhinestone crystals must have a flat back and iron-on hotfix glue in order to be applied.
They can be adhered to just about any surface however its ability to permanently do so will be dependent on the permeability of the surface to the glue. The more permeable the surface, the more easily adhesion will occur. Permeable surfaces such as fabric may be washed gently without disturbing the crystals if application has been completed correctly.
Please note that non-permeable surfaces such as glass or plastic may be used decoratively but cannot be guaranteed to prevent the glue from withstanding wear or washing.
